Too bad for you then, dude. I have an iPhone with AT&T in the Chicago area as well, and love it! First 3GS and now 4. I think some people like to gripe just to gripe. No other company was better equipped to handle the data usage than AT&T. And that's a documented fact.

I also live in Chicago, same as the video's creator. At Navy Pier, having dinner at Harry Carry's a few days ago. My friend with his Droid had FULL bars. I was "Searching..." the entire time we ate dinner. My friends at the table were trying to hold back the laughter. Afterall, I was showing off my new iPhone 4. Later that night, tried to use the GPS to get me back to my car. Parking stub had the address. GPS failed completely. The phone is going to be returned ASAP.

ATT simply doesn't work where I live in Holladay. Never did. They refuse to fix it. Left them holding their stupid contract, since i paid them for years for the crappiest most danegrous - hot radiation coming from their Nokia ear-tumor maker.

You know, AT&T isn't really that bad. I have an iPhone 3G with AT&T, and I'm satisfied with the service and reception. I also drove through the US from California to Pennsylvania, and haven't had problems. So kills that theory
